The CNMI Office of Aging, in collaboration with government and private sectors, is organizing activities in celebration of the upcoming Older American Month/Mes Man Amko in May.

Cities, towns, and communities across the United Stated and its territories, each year during the month of May, acknowledge the many contributions the senior citizens have made in shaping the society. Many of these are former teachers, leaders of industry, war heroes, and religious figures who help new generations learn about their past by sharing their experiences and serving as role models.

Their values of hard work, determination, compassion, and faith continue to benefit millions of families across America and its territories.

The CNMI Office of Aging is inviting everyone to publicly reaffirm the nation’s continuing commitment to honor older Americans. To volunteer, or to make contribution, call the CNMI Office of Aging at 233-1320-(3), or (fax) 233-1327.
