Golden Harvest International School held its 5th commencement exercises and recognition day yesterday morning at Pacific Islands Club.

The school graduated a total of 12 students belonging to Kindergarten and advanced Kinder-5.

This year’s kinder graduates are Dominic Ernest B. Basilio and Amelito Dalusong Jr.

Kinder-5 graduates included Angela Dl. Aninon, Shekinah Grace S. Armea, Daryl Anonuevo, Angelica Carla H. Diaz, Norlyn Joy P. Elayda, Riselle Iris C. Leong, Beltran Muna, Mark B. Ogasawara, Angel Mar P. Pamintuan, and Cassandra Lourdes C. Prather.

The ceremony, which began at 8:30am at PIC’s Charley’s Bar, was attended by GHIS parents, officials and staff, and guests, including Sen. Pete P. Reyes and private school coalition and Calvary Christian Academy principal Scott Norman.

Norman, who delivered an inspirational message during the event, urged the parents and guardians to continue to aspire to provide the best quality education for their children.

Meantime, GHIS administration yesterday gave the graduating class some words from Anatole France: “To accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream, not plan but also believe.”

GHIS, which is located in San Jose, offers nursery, kinder and up to second grade classes.
