Little League Baseball playoffs are here!
It’s official, the Little League Baseball playoffs are set to commence this weekend, and all of the information regarding dates and times are now available.
Beginning Saturday, May 22, round one of the single elimination showdown gets underway, as the top eight teams in the Majors face off at the Oleai Sports Complex.
The first game pits the pennant champion UMDA Hustlers against the Verizon Fielders. The first pitch is schedule to be thrown at 9am.
Game two showcases the runners up in the pennant race, Pacifica Insurance Pirates, taking on McDonald’s. All of the super-sized action takes place at 11am.
It’s the scissors versus the tomahawks in game three, as Salon DeVie Kagman 1-2-3 and the AA Enterprise Tanapag Braves are set to take the field at 1pm.
Game four features the Juan Santiago Blue Jays in competition with the Joeten Ace Hardware Twins. The Little League pledge will be read at 3pm.
The following day will have the winner of game one (Hustlers v. Fielders) play the winner of game two (Pirates v. McDonald’s) in game five at 9am.
At 11am, the winner of Saturday’s game three (Kagman 1-2-3 v. Braves) will challenge the winner of game four (Blue Jays v. Twins) in game six.
On the following week, the teams that lost on the previous Sunday will battle it out in the consolation game at 9am.
The teams left standing from Sunday will vie for the title of Major Little League Champs at 11am.
All games will be played at the Oleai Sports Complex.
