Businesses, government offices, and organizations that have not yet registered their teams to join in the annual Saipan Chamber of Commerce Corporate Challenge can still do so by calling the Chamber at 233-7150.

Cost for a team to participate in the Corporate Challenge is $275. All participants receive a free t-shirt, and winning teams are eligible for great donated prizes.

All proceeds from the event support the Chamber of Commerce’s Education Scholarship Fund, which each year helps local deserving students further their education

The Corporate Challenge will take place at American Memorial Park on Sunday, Aug. 22, starting at 9am. Teams will compete in games that include an obstacle course, an egg toss, and eating contest. Fellow employees, family members, and the public are invited to cheer on their favorite team. A special prize will be given to the team that has the best-decorated tent, following the day’s theme of “Patriotism.”

For more information, call Saipan Chamber of Commerce executive director Christine Parke at (670) 233-7150; Fax: 670/233-7151; or email: saipanchamber@saipan.com; or visit their website at www.saipanchamber.com

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is the largest private business organization in the CNMI. Through business leadership and membership involvement in community issues, the Chamber continues to develop its role as a beacon for good business in these islands.
