FREE TURKEY IN RGA THANKSGIVING EVENT

The Refaluwasch Golf Association will celebrate Thanksgiving Day with its annual Turkey Shootout next Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Coral Ocean Point golf course.

A total of 24 slots are available and even non-RGA members are invited to join the Turkey Shootout. Tournament fee is $100, which is inclusive of the green fee.

The Turkey Shootout will also serve as RGA’s Monthly Ace of the Month Tournament. Tee time is set for noon but players are requested to sign it 30 minutes earlier for pairings.

All 24 participants of the Turkey Shootout are also guaranteed to take home a turkey each courtesy of RGA. The association will also be donating turkeys to the man ‘amko as part of the association’s annual tribute to the islands’ elderly citizens.

NMITA FALLS CLASSIC SERVES UP TOMORROW

The Northern Mariana Islands Tennis Association will host the 2004 Fall Classic Tennis Championships on Nov. 11-14 at the American Memorial Park tennis courts.

The tournament has a total of 12 singles and doubles divisions for both boys and girls 18 years old and under.

Entry fee is $10 for singles play and $5 per person in the doubles category. Checks should be made payable to NMITA. Entry fees and entry forms should be submitted to Las Vegas Discount Golf & Tennis.

Tournament draws will be posted at the Las Vegas Discount Golf & Tennis and American Memorial Park bulletin board starting today, Nov. 10.

JUNIOR GOLF TOURNEY THIS MONTH

The Northern Marianas Junior Golf League, in cooperation with the Guam Junior Golf League and the Shich Su Yin Scholarship, will be hold the Shieh Su Ying Junior Golf Championship on Nov. 27 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

The tournament is open to all junior golfers of the CNMI and Guam between the ages of 7 years old and 18 years old.

Application forms are available at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort, Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort, and at the Law Office of Edward Manibusan in Fina Sisu.

Entry fee is $15 for 7-10-year-olds and $30 for 11-18-year-olds. Deadline for submission of entries is Nov. 13.
