The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. said yesterday that its Water Division and a contractor completed the installation of a temporary booster pump to complement the remaining one pump that operates at the Kagman Booster Station on Monday, Nov. 8.

According to the CUC, the pump station was back to normal operation on that day.

The agency explained that, as the 1.0 MG tank and half of the distribution lines were empty, it took time for other residents to receive water. “The water pressure will slowly build up at the high part of Kagman as water inside the 1.0 MG tank starts to rise,” it said, and that residents of Kagman I, II and II should be receiving water by now.

“Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and solicit the community’s patience, cooperation and understanding,” the agency said in a statement. (PR)
