Teregeyo separated herself from the opposition by rolling a four-game series score of 690 pinfalls, more than 40 pins ahead of her closest pursuer.

She had an auspicious start, knocking down 177 pins and then followed it up with a 166. After hitting for a series high 184 on her third game, Teregeyo finished with a 163 and wound up with a 172.5 per game norm.

Rizza Hensley took second place in the year’s first Queen of the Lanes competition after coming up with a 646 and 161.5 norm Sunday. Hensley, the first-day leader, started out with a 159 then rolled 142 and a 174 before finishing her stint with a 171.

Elena Soll was a mere four pins short of Hensley’s total and wound up in third place with 642 and 160.5. She had a series of 148, 152, 165, and 177 Sunday.

Teregeyo earned $50 for her victory, while Hensley and Soll went home with $30 and $20, respectively.
