Marianas March Against Cancer captains’ meeting set
The 2005 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee is calling a meeting for all team captains for the March Against Cancer event that will take place later in May.
The meeting for team captains will be at 5:30pm on March 17, 2005 at the Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club.
The MMAC committee is asking individuals, organizations, schools, and businesses to become a part of this year’s March Against Cancer by forming a team and participating in this important event.
All team captains and other interested individuals are asked to attend the team captain meeting to learn more about the event.
The Marianas March Against Cancer event is the Commonwealth’s largest fundraiser in the fight against cancer. Groups wanting to register their team or anyone needing more information may email Reyna Hudson at jianhudson@hotmail.com.
Attention CNMI businesses
The Division of Revenue & Taxation is informing all CNMI businesses that the distribution of the 2004 1120-CM Forms and Instructions will begin tomorrow, Feb. 18, 2005 from 8am to 4pm at the Office of the Division of Revenue and Taxation located at the DanDan Commercial Center.
All businesses are asked to pick up the forms during regular business hours beginning Feb. 18, 2005. The deadline for filing 2004 1120-CM form is Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 4:30pm.

DPS child restraint checkup on Saturday
The Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section will be conducting a Child Restraint Checkup Event on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.
The Child Restraint Checkup will be at the Price Costco parking lot. It will start at about 9am and will end at 6pm.
All parents, caregivers, and interested individuals are urged to attend this event. Child Restraint Technicians will be installing carseats on this day. This activity is part of the DPS’ efforts to educate and ensure that all vehicle occupants are protected.

events this week
The Grace Christian Academy will hold a Parent Appreciation Luncheon Fellowship & Assembly tomorrow, Feb. 18, at the GCA Cafeteria and Auditorium, in observance of the National Parent Leadership Month and Child Passenger Safety Month.
It would start with a Luncheon Fellowship from 12pm to 1pm at the cafeteria followed by an Assembly at the auditorium.
Meeting for Weno Municipality

All citizens of the Weno (Moen) Municipality in the CNMI will hold an important meeting on Sunday, Feb. 20, 10am at the Garapan Central Park Roundhouse.
President Mithasy B. Mark of Ach Chuukese-CNMI Association is requesting all citizens of the municipality to attend the meeting.
