Hotel Nikko Saipan enhances guests’ dining experience at its restaurants by bringing into the island two new Japanese chefs.

Tadanobu Kametani and Hirokazu Ikeda are Nikko’s two new chefs. They specialize in Western cuisine—including French, Italian and Mediterranean.

Kametani heads Nikko’s food and beverage team for the hotel’s Serena Restaurant, Teppanyaki Restaurant, the Theater Hall dinner show, as well as the Salt and Pepper Restaurant at the La Fiesta Mall. Ikeda heads the F&B team for the hotel’s Benkay Restaurant.

Kametani and Ray Dela Cruz, Nikko’s administrative manager, visited the Saipan Tribune office Tuesday, treating the newspaper’s staff to a buffet.

Dela Cruz said the treat was Nikko’s way of extending its appreciation to persons and businesses that have supported the hotel and its operations.
