The Marianas Visitors Authority participated in the 12th Travel Tour Expo held at the SM Megamall, in Manadaluyong, the Philippines from Feb. 4 to 6, 2005.

International Business Professional College from Saipan participated with the MVA at the event and provided assistance with inquiries on education facilities and the NCLEX program available in the CNMI.

Over 50,000 travel agents and general consumers attended this year’s trade show.

The MVA also presented the destination in a Travel Agent Seminar hosted by Continental Airlines.

The Guam Visitors Bureau and the Palau Visitors Authority were also present at this function held in the Edsa-Shangri-La Hotel, Manila, the Philippines on Feb. 2, 2005.

Each national tourism organization had an opportunity to present their destinations product to 60 top management travel agents specializing the Micronesia travel market.

“This is the 2nd year that MVA participated the Philippine Travel Tour Expo and each year the outcome was a success as more travel agents, students and NCLEX clients show interest in the destination. They would visit our booth and gather travel information about the CNMI,” said MVA acting deputy managing director Martin Duenas. (PR)
