San Vicente Parish is inviting the general public to join them in a Mass to offer prayers for Terri Schiavo, the brain-damaged Florida woman embroiled in a legal battle to save her life after having her feeding tube removed. Schiavo has gone 11 days without food or water and is reportedly near death.

The Mass will be held today, March 30, 6pm, at San Vicente Church and a vigil will precede the service in front of the church steps.

The church is asking anyone who is planning on attending the service to wear red, white, or blue clothing as well as bring red, white, or blue candles to show support for Schiavo. Anyone who has had a family member who’s gone through the same condition that Schiavo is going through is also asked to attend and offer prayers.
