The Public School System has been busy this past week preparing all the schools for the upcoming Scholastic Aptitude Test 10, which starts tomorrow.

Education associate commissioner for instructional services Rita Sablan met with all officials concerned with the test last week to ensure the test would be conducted properly. She also sent a memo to all PSS Curriculum Instruction Assessment program managers last April 11.

In the memo, Sablan requested for the support of all CIA program managers and their assistance to monitor the schools during the SAT10 testing schedule. She said the grade levels taking the test next week would be from grades 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 11.

She said the purpose of the memorandum was to verify the preparation of the schools for SAT10 with regards to attendance of students and teachers during the week, as well as the readiness of each classroom teacher for proctoring.

The memo assigned program managers Jackie Quitugua to monitor Saipan Southern High School, Koblerville Elementary School, and San Antonio Elementary. Program coordinator Steve Smith has been assigned to monitor Marianas High School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, and Hopwood Junior High School.

Frank Rabauliman will monitor Kagman High School, Chacha Oceanview Junior High School and Kagman Elementary School. Brian Torres will oversee Oleai Elementary School, Dandan Elementary School and San Vicente Elementary School. Program coordinator Josi Jones Lizama will monitor Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School, Tanapag Elementary School and Garapan Elementary School.

Laura Brown and Joanne Nicholls will be assigned also at Oleai Elementary School, William S. Reyes Elementary School, Saipan Southern High School and Kagman High School Special Education Program.
