The Attorney General’s Office yesterday charged before the Superior Court three persons with theft over two separate incidents.

In one of the cases, CNMI chief prosecutor Jeffrey Moots lodged theft and child abuse charges against As Lito residents Arthur and Rebecca Camacho. The criminal information against the Camachos did not specify their relationship.

Moots accused the Camachos of stealing merchandise worth over $30 from Price Costco last June 6. The Camachos allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision over a 12-year-old child on the same day.

Moots also charged 46-year-old Vicente C. Esteves of San Vicente with theft of service.

Esteves allegedly failed to pay some $136 worth of beer and other alcoholic beverages at the Stardust Nightclub in San Jose from June 10 to 11.
