Wedding organizers visit the Marianas

Earlier this month, the Mariana Islands of Saipan and Tinian welcomed 12 organizers and representatives from the Shanghai Oriental Television on Sept. 6-10, 2005.
The group conducted location hunting on the two islands for the upcoming Rose Wedding Event to be held on Oct. 17-22, 2005 on both islands. Adding to their itinerary, the group was also able to experience a Sunset Dinner Cruise, Submarine Tour and Managaha Island Tour.
“This is a joint event with the Shanghai Tourism Board, Qiangsheng International Tourism, Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino, and Rose Wedding Formalities. In the past, young couples would go to Shanghai from different cities for a group wedding ceremony, but recently the organizer of Rose Wedding Formalities began to work with outbound tourism boards,” said MVA managing director Vicky Benevente.
Every year, more and more young couples go abroad for their wedding ceremonies and honeymoons through the Rose Wedding Formalities Tour Company.
“This joint event will further strengthen the CNMI’s presence in the China market,” said Benavente.
The wedding and honeymoon couples who will visit the islands in mid-October will also experience these activities. (PR)
