Aerial and live fire training at FDM

The Emergency Management Office, Office of the Governor, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas (N3), would like to inform the general public that the U.S. Military Unit would be conducting Aerial Survey and Live Fire Training on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla. The schedule dates and time are as follow:

– Aerial Survey on Dec. 12 from 8am to 1pm
– Live Fire on Dec. 13-14 from 8am to 3:30pm
– Live Fire on Dec. 15-16 from 8am to 3:30pm

The general location of these activities will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Area (R7201) on a ten (10) nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

Due to the danger of these activities, Gov. Juan N. Babauta is advising the general public especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and tour operators to take precautionary measures and to stay away from this area during the time and dates indicated.
