Hyatt recognizes partners in appreciation party
Putting up a safari set-up amid profuse greenery at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s garden, the hotel hosted a pre-Christmas appreciation party for the companies that have continued to support it weather hard economic times.
Hyatt gave away raffle and parlor game prizes that include complimentary overnight stays, dinners and massage at the hotel, its restaurants, and other facilities.
Despite the pullout of Japan Airlines from Saipan and its impact on the local tourism industry, Hyatt continues to perform well due to the support of its partners, according to hotel general manager Michael von Siebenthal.
“This is our annual appreciation party to express our sincerest gratitude to the companies supporting Hyatt,” he added.
von Sibenthal said some 120 representatives of different companies graced the event Friday, where Hyatt gave the guests a special treat of food, drinks, prizes and entertainment. A band serenaded the guests while enjoying buffet dinner at the Hyatt’s garden, where a tent and cages of parrots were put up to create a safari ambiance.
von Siebenthal offered a toast to begin the party, which was immediately followed by a parlor game, the winners of which got sets of gifts and complimentary dinner for two at the Hyatt’s SandCastle.
During the event, Hyatt also recognized the companies that ranked best in terms of supporting the hotel’s business. von Siebenthal led Hyatt executives in handing out plaques to those companies’ representatives.
Hyatt recognized DFS Galleria as its top partner regarding the hotel’s corporate accounts, as well as producer of the year. For the top Japanese tour companies, Hyatt recognized two firms—Pacific Micronesia Tours, Inc. and HIS tour company.
Hyatt also recognized Hana Tours as its top producer for the Korean market category.
