April 10-14 Spring Break. No classes
April 13 No Saturday Reading Program
April 24 SAT10 Testing all week. Bring two number 2 pencils and an eraser. Get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast.
* Effective immediately, any 8th graders suspended for any reason will not walk at promotion on May 24.
* Effective immediately, all fighters will be automatically suspended.
* Friday, March 31, will be report card day. School will be half-day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Report cards will be disseminated 2:30-6pm. School newsletters will be distributed.
*Congratulations to Ms. Sharleen Crisostimo and Ms. Chrissy Halloran for being nominated to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers!
There will be a PTSA this Thursday, April 6, at 6pm in the library. The agenda will include promotion update, a chance for vendors to showcase their wares, counseling, etc.
Promotion Update: Congratulations to the following vendors for being chosen as the official vendors for the Hopwood Junior High School Promotion Ceremony. These vendors have exclusive rights to advertise on and off campus for promotion on behalf of our school.

SSHS Q3 REPORT CARDS DISTRIBUTION
Saipan Southern High School would be distributing its 3rd quarter report cards on March 30 from 4pm to 7pm at the Manta Ray Café. (PR)
IMPORTANT MARCH DATES AT GES
This month we are promoting the MegaSkill of Focus and the ESLR “Learns to Read, Reads to Learn”. This means that you will be seeing a greater emphasis on reading as we begin the Annual Reading Craze.

Don’t forget that we are still recycling for the DEQ Contest and your Boxtops are valuable items that help us raise funds.
