‘Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy, unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.
—Song of Solomon 8:6-7

Vowing to love one another for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, Guillermo Chico and Ronnie Orfanel professed their love for one another by tying the knot on Oct. 7 at the San Vicente Parish Church, amid the presence of families, relatives and close friends.

With principal sponsors Alejandro and Teresita Matsumoto, best man Glenn Maglaya and maid of honor Laura Matsunaga, the two were married in a solemn ceremony by Rev. Fr. Charlie Borja.

Reception immediately followed at the Seaside Hall of the Saipan Grand Hotel.
