The Marianas Visitors Authority has announced the upcoming launch of the Bisita Marianas 2007 campaign. This is a program targeted to bring Guam residents as well as military personnel to the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota. It will run from Dec. 1, 2006 to Sept. 30, 2007.

The advertising campaign will run in the Pacific Daily News, which has a daily circulation of 28,000. There will also be some grass roots marketing efforts where CNMI’s Bisita Marianas flyers will be given out at various events in Guam and at military events. In addition, information will be given to travel agents in Guam.

Continental Connections operated by Cape Air will have the CNMI’s Bisita Marianas Flyers onboard their aircrafts for travelers to view as they make their way to the CNMI.

By showing their Guam or military identification, guests will be invited to take advantage of discounted rates on hotels and other attractions on the islands. Various offers from restaurants, hotels, car rentals, and golf will provide a welcoming visit to those with their ID’s.

“Having residents of Guam visit our islands emphasizes our connection as family and friends from the Marianas. We are pleased to showcase our offerings and look forward to continued inter-island travel between the Marianas,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “We also enjoy our strong relationship with the military. Offering them a relaxing and fun filled experience.”
