Deleon Guerrero is SGA April Ace

Last year’s Saipan Golfers Association Ace of Aces champion Larry I. Deleon Guerrero finished with a net score 68 to win the SGA April Ace held last Sunday at Coral Oceana Point.
The 20-handicapper Deleon Guerrero shot a 43 and 45 at the front and back nines for a gross of 88 to enjoy a two-shot lead over Jose I. Sablan and 15 other SGA members that joined the monthly ace.
Sablan, who had a 23 handicap, shot a 46 and 47 for a 93 gross and 70 net to place second while Art Deleon Guerrero finished with a net 71 to came in third.
Rick Kautz had the longest drive in hole No. 8, while Steve Balakrishna duplicated the feat in hole No. 10.
Kautz and Balakrishna led five other players who sank a birdie each. Joining them are Tony Camacho, Jess Castro, Joe Demapan, Martin Sablan, and former Superior Court associate judge Ed Manibusan.
Other golfers that joined, with their scores in parenthesis, were Sablan, Kautz and Bob Magofna (73); Camacho and Das Krishnan (74); Balakrishna, Demapan, and Ray San Nicolas (75); Manibusan and John Cruz (76); Castro (77); Mario Fajardo (80); Matias Chargualaf (81); and Norbert Torres (86).
