PTI 83 and Salty Boyz will go for all the marbles in Sunday’s finals of the Belau Amateur Sports Association Slow-pitch Softball League at the Dandan Elementary School Field.

PTI 83 and Salty Boyz clash in the three-game championship series with Game 1 starting at 11am after the 10am third place match between Chelus and Red Torch.

All three games will be played on Sunday.

PTI 83 knocked out pennant champion Chelus in last week’s semifinals to earn the right of facing Salty Boyz, which finished second in the elimination round.

Shell Marianas was the main sponsor of BASA’s recent softball season with Shell Marianas manager Jeff Boyer donating $425 that organizers used to buy a complete set of bases and balls for the league.

In other news, BASA board member Brian Adelbai is asking interested teams to start preparing for the 2008 season that is set to open tentatively on May.

They will hold a meeting on Thursday, April 17, at 6pm at the pavilion beside the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

For more information, call Adelbai at 234-8438 or Ace Yoshida at 236-2549.
