SEDA fetes summer-fall 2008 winners

The awards banquet for the 2008 summer-fall season of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association came and went last June 22 with the six teams celebrated during the award banquet held at Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret.

The six division champions of the summer-fall season were honored and awarded their respective trophies.

Oleai Black Stallions led all the winners by topping the Masters League with a 134-104 win-loss record, followed by Krystal Maters Proofers with a 125-113 card, and Oleai D Companeros and Oleai Snipers, which finished the season with 115-123 and 102-136 records, respectively.

Topping the competition in the Monday A League, meanwhile, was Krystal A Destroyers with a 159-79 win-loss mark. Jonny’s Emperor (144-94) and VFW R-U-G-G-Y (128-110) finished second and third.

Rounding out the teams in the A League were Vargas Corp. Snipers (110-120), Porky’s Pu It In (108-130), VFW Major Leaks (155-133), Krystal 151 Proofers (83-121), and Len’s 5 Water Boys (82-139).

Gaia Naughty Boys captured the Tuesday B League by virtue of its 145-65 success rate, followed by Naked Fish Naked Boyz Too (125-85) and Krystal 80 Proofers (120-90) in the Top 3.

Jonny’s Get Some (119-91), Krystal B Destroyers (106-104), Naked Mokokau (95-115), The Flair Charanda’s (66-144), and Jonny’s Shinsengimi (64-146) make up the rest of the standings in the B Legaue.

Lording it over in the Thursday B League and C League were Naked Fish Naked Boys and Jonny’s Taya Bida, respectively.

Naked Fish Naked Boyz finished with a 128-82 standing in Tuesday B with Len’s 5 Light Out and Porky’s Babui Time rounding out the Top 3 with records of 121-89 and 113-93, respectively.

The Flair Sakudi Umbre (113-97), Porky’s Porketters (113-97), Coral Reef B Shark Attack (106-104), Johnny’s Fujin (95-115), Naked Under Dogs (91-119), The Flair You Know (90-120), and Utopia (80-130) also competed in the division.

Jonny’s Taya Bida won C League with its 146-64 mark, followed by Gaia Like It Or Not (133-77) and Jonny’s Insane Dart Posses (116-94).

Teams that also took part in the C League last season were VFW Clubmates (111-99), Porky’s Bud Licious (107-103), Coral Reef C Shark Attack (102-108), Jonny’s A.D.H. (96-114), Coral Reef Barracuda (88-122), VFW Wolf and The Gang (78-132), and Oleai Top Shooters (73-137).

Last but definitely not the least, Oleai B-52s was the winner in the Ladies League after winding up with a 147-78 mark. Naked Wahoo (135-90), Bare Naked Ladies (96-129), and Len’s 5 Rookies (72-153) also took part in the division.
