Casino Dept tops TDHC eliminations

Casino Department topped the elimination round of the 7th Annual Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino Inter-Departmental Basketball League being played at the TDHC staff house court.

The squad won all its three games in the first round of the competition to wind up with a 3-0 win-loss mark, followed by Finance Shipping (2-0), F&B Service (1-1), F&B Chefs (1-3), and Security Department (0-3).

Two other teams—TAGA/Housing Department and Housekeeping Department—were knocked out after the first round.

Of all the matches in the elimination round, only one game was suspended because of rain. The F&B Service-Finance Shipping game will be continued on Thursday, July 10, in the second quarter.

Last night’s games pitted F&B Service against Security Department in the 6:30pm first game, while the 8pm second game had Casino Department taking on Finance Shipping. Results of the games were still not available as of press time, however.
