The Dancoe-Cabrera wedding
Charles Dancoe, more popularly known on the islands as Daddy Long Legzz, and Thelma Cabrera Hawkins were joined together as one couple during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 30, 2008.
Their wedding, held in Phoenix, Arizona, was attended by a large clan of former and current island residents, who wished the new couple a blissful marriage and future successes.
Charles Dancoe, the former morning man of Power 99 and program director, is now working with Clear Channel, which owns more than over 1,100 radio stations, 40 television stations and 870,000 outdoor advertising displays. Clear Channel Communications operates in 65 countries with more than 30,000 employees according to its website.
Thelma is the daughter of Carl and Magarita Cabrera Hawkins and holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
