PIC Thanksgiving Softball Tournament set next month

Teams can now register for the 15th Annual PIC Thanksgiving Softball Tournament organized and sponsored by Pacific Islands Club.

The event is set to be held from Nov. 14 to 16.

PIC sports manager Lindsey Sosovec said entry forms could be picked up at the PIC or at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Games will be played at the Miguel “Tan Ge” Basa Pangelinan Ballfield.

The tournament will again feature teams from Guam, including defending champion PIC Guam and runner-up No Ka Oi, the 2006 titleholder.

There were 12 teams that competed last year.

Sosovec said registration deadline is set on Nov. 12. The entry is $180 per team.

The tournament will be a co-ed event, meaning two females must be on the lineup. The tournament format is a double elimination bracket.
