HAGATNA, Guam—The Bank of Guam is a Gold Sponsor for this Saturday’s Make-A-Wish Foundation’s annual Gala Fundraiser, featuring Guam native Dave Duenas and the San Francisco Guitar Quartet. Bank of Guam joins Platinum Sponsors Continental Airlines and Hyatt Regency as major sponsors for the yearly event.

Bank of Guam president and board chair Lou Leon Guerrero said, “Because of organizations like Make-A-Wish, our children are able to share in the magical experience of a Wish. In keeping with my father Jesus S. Leon Guerrero, and my brother Tony in their compassion and generosity, it is only fitting that the Bank of Guam continue to support the Foundation and its mission.”

Make-A-Wish Foundation chair Phil Santos accepted the contribution on behalf of the Wish Children. “The Bank of Guam has always supported the Foundation through its generous sponsorship and caring volunteers. This donation reflects an appreciation for the impact of our mission, and we are grateful for the faith they have demonstrated in our ability to do good work. The vision of the Make-A-Wish Foundation is that people everywhere will share the power of a wish.” (BoG)
