Thank you Rep. Ray Yumul for introducing a resolution urging the CDA to deny Saipan LauLau Development (Kumho Asiana) more of the CNMI’s money. Thanks for doing your job as an elected representative and as chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. If Gov. Fitial wants to contend with you over the matter, the proper forum is the legislative chamber, not the newspapers.

Do not misunderstand me. Kumho Asiana is not a villain here. I know they are just trying to get the best possible deal for their investors. That is good business. They make good money here. That is why they keep investing in the CNMI. Thanks also to Kumho Asiana to taking a chance on the CNMI.

Ray, you are correct in stating that we have been basically bending over backwards for Kumho Asiana. Enough is enough. And Ray, you just keep speaking your mind and heart on behalf of the people of the CNMI.
