Installation of Saipan’s Mason officers today

Elected and appointed officers for this year’s Saipan Masons will be installed today, Saturday, at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga ballroom.

Businessman Isagani Benoza will be installed as Worshipful Master for the Emon Lodge No. 179 of Masonic District No. 54 under the Jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines.

The ceremony will be held from 5pm to 9pm.

Alfredo D. Leon Guerrero, the Guam International Airport Authority property manager, is the guest of honor during the installation ceremony.

Leon Guerrero is the son of former Guam governor Manuel Leon Guerrero. At present he holds the title of Very Worshipful Noble in the Masonry. He is also the past District Deputy Grand Master for the Grand Lodge of the Philippines.

The Guam official is also the president of the Guam Shriners Association, which is under the jurisdiction of the Aloha Shriners of Hawaii.

The Very Worshipful and Past Junior Grand Lecturer Ramoncito B. Piaña will serve as the installing officer, while Angel Baldemore will be the master of ceremony.

Masons, also known as Freemasons, belong to the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world. Some of the Masons’ charitable contributions go to the Shriners centers in Hawaii and California that treat crippled and burned children worldwide.
