EJ Tenorio leads batters in Big League

E.J. Tenorio of the San Roque D-9ers is currently leading all batters in the Big League Division of the 2009 Saipan Little League.

Tenorio has so far cornered the most hits, 8-for-13 at bat to emerge on top among 17 batters who were included in the list based on 10 or more at bats.

He averaged .615 in the D-9ers first four games of the season.

The team has a 2-2 win-loss slate in a tie at third with the Hustlers.

Tenorio also earned the most RBI with five.

Nick Cruz Jr. of the Aztecs is running second with .500 on seven hits out of 14 at bats, while Ben Cabrera of the Falcons is third with .462 on 6-for-13 at bat.

David Camacho of the D-9ers and Vicente Camacho of the Falcons are in fourth and fifth with .429 (6-of-14) and .412 (7-of-17), respectively. David Camacho is the leader in triple with two.

Ryan Lisua of Ol’Aces is running sixth with .400 (4-of-10).

Seventh-ranked Ike Aldan of the Falcons went at bat for the most number of times with 21 but could only clinch seven hits for an average of .333.

However, Aldan has the most doubles with three.

Inside the Top 10 are Tim Cruz, Aztecs (.333, 5-for-15), Zack Tudela, Fielders (.308, 4-for-13), and Juan Iguel, Ol’Aces (.286, 4-of-14).

Cruz had the most runs with eight.

Others in the list are Iaonis Rasa, Fielders (.286), Ben Flores, Fielders (.273), Jesse Sablan, D-9ers (.273), Jimmy Brel, Ol’Aces (.250), Wally Emul, Aztecs (.231), Navan Falig, Falcons (.231), and Juan Tenorio (.231).

Giovanni Ayuyu of the Hustlers became the only player so far to score a homerun.

Rasa and Anthony Aldan of the Hustlers are leading in ERA with 0.00. Jared Camacho of the D-9ers is third with 0.38.

Completing the Top 12 are Brel (1.17), Vicente Camacho (1.26), Iguel (1.34), Drew Magofna, Falcons (2.00), Nick Cruz, Aztecs (.225), Tony Rogolofoi, Hustlers (2.63), Ayuyu (3.00), and Elton Santos, Fielders (3.00).

Vicente Camacho is currently on top of the list in strikeouts with 35, Elton Santos (27), Jared Camacho (23), Nick Muna, Aztecs (14), Ayuyu (11), David Camacho (10), and Iguel (10).
