Celebrity leads A Division, two-way tie in Ladies League

Oleai Beach Bar & Grill’s Celebrity started its season on top of the A Division leaderboard after downing the Naked Fish Boyz, 12-5, on the road at Naked Fish Bar & Grill as the Saipan Electronic Dart Association 2011 Summer/Fall season commenced Monday night.

Meanwhile, Try Luck, of D’ Pirates Bar & Grill and Joe’s Steakhouse’s I Like It share the top spot in the Ladies Division with identical 13-2 win-loss records

Both frontrunners pulled off lopsided road wins as Try Luck romped the Island Girls, 13-2, at Jonny’s Bar & Grill, while Just Like That dominated the Daffodils, 13-2, at Joe’s.

A Division’s D’Pirates’ Predators and Oleai’s Proofers are close behind in second place with like records of 11 wins and six losses.

The Predators brushed off sister-team Ali’i Kamote’s, while the Proofers defeated Gaia Bar’s Gaiana-A at home.

D’Pirates’ Mixed-Blood Shooters 1 and the Trouble Shooters of Wild Bill’s Bar & Grill share identical 9-8 slates and are knotted up in third place.

Mixed Blood edged out sister team Bud Brothers in a home game, while the Troubleshooters bested the visiting Primos of Oleai. Notably, Bud Brother’s Romuel Chavez scored a High-In 160 in the match.

Ten teams make up the A Division.

In the Ladies League, third-ranked Oleai’s Man-Amigas knocked off D’Pirates’ Star Magic, 11-4, at home.

Six teams make up the Ladies’ League.
