Man, 41, arrested for sex abuse of girl
Police arrested Wednesday afternoon a 41-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl since she was 8 or 9 years old on Tinian.
Police arrested Wednesday afternoon a 41-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl since she was 8 or 9 years old on Tinian.
John Ibanez Carreon was taken to the Saipan Superior Court yesterday afternoon on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and child abuse. His bail was set at $50,000 cash. Preliminary hearing will be on Feb. 1, 2012 at 9am.
Detective Barbara Arend stated in her report that a concerned citizen called her on Monday about a sexual abuse victim who wanted to die. Arend said she immediately conducted an investigation that led to Carreon’s arrest.
