Chamber names nominees for Business Person of the Year

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce nominations for 2013 Business Person of the Year. This year’s Business Person of the Year will be honored during the Chamber’s Installation Dinner, scheduled for Jan. 25, 6pm at the Fiesta Resort Hibiscus Hall. The Installation Dinner is when a new set of officers officially assume their posts on the board of directors.
The 2013 nominees are Norman T. Tenorio, Pacifica Insurance; Nick Nishikawa, Hyatt Regency Saipan; John Baldwin, Bridge Capital, LLC; Patricia T. Palacios, Tenorio Enterprises; Alex Youn, Stars Sands Plaza; Guy Pudney, Marianas Pacific Distributors; and Marcie Tomokane, Bank of Guam.
Nominations were held over the last three weeks and criteria for selection to receive the award include community involvement and contributions, business longevity, support for local workforce and participation in Chamber activities.
Last year the Saipan Chamber of Commerce recognized two winners of the annual award, Marcia E. Ayuyu, R.J. Corp.; and AnthonyPellegrino (deceased), Saipan Sea Ventures. [I](SCC)[/I]
